These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of flashcard.page. By accessing or using flashcard.page, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
flashcard.page is a browser-based flashcard workspace that lets users create, import, edit, organize, study, and share flashcard sets. Certain features may require an account, while other features may be available without one.
1. Eligibility And Accounts
- You may use flashcard.page only if you can form a binding agreement with us and your use complies with applicable law.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, session, credentials, passkeys, magic links, or shared access that you control.
- You must provide accurate information when creating or updating an account and keep your login methods secure.
- We may suspend or terminate access if account information is false, misleading, abusive, or used in violation of these Terms.
2. Your Use Of The Service
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable right to access and use flashcard.page for its intended purpose.
You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service, its underlying systems, or other users' content or accounts.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of the flashcards, text, images, files, feedback, and other content you upload, create, import, or submit through flashcard.page ("User Content").
You are solely responsible for your User Content and for the consequences of storing, sharing, publishing, or transmitting it through the service.
By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, modify only as technically necessary, display, and otherwise process that User Content solely to operate, secure, maintain, improve, and provide the service and its features.
If you create or use share links or collaboration features, you also authorize us to make the relevant User Content available to the people who access that link or collaboration session in the permitted mode.
4. Rights You Must Have In Your Content
You represent and warrant that:
- you own your User Content or have all rights, licenses, consents, and permissions needed to upload, store, share, and use it through flashcard.page;
- your User Content and your use of the service do not infringe, misappropriate, or violate any copyright, trademark, trade secret, publicity, privacy, or other rights of any person or entity;
- your User Content does not violate applicable law and is not fraudulent, defamatory, threatening, harassing, exploitative, or otherwise unlawful; and
- you have obtained any permissions needed for people, data, or materials included in your User Content.
5. Copyright, Infringement, And Takedown Requests
You may not upload or share content that infringes another person's copyright or other intellectual property rights.
If you believe content on flashcard.page infringes your copyright or other rights, email contact@flashcard.page with enough information for us to review the report, including:

- the specific URL, set, image, or other location of the reported content;
- a description of why you believe the use is unauthorized or unlawful;

We may remove or disable access to reported content, request additional information, notify the affected user, or take other action we consider appropriate. We may also suspend or terminate accounts of repeat infringers or users who repeatedly violate these Terms.

7. Moderation, Removal, And Enforcement
We do not assume any obligation to pre-screen or continuously monitor User Content, and we do not endorse User Content uploaded by users.
However, we may review, remove, disable access to, preserve, or disclose content or account information if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to:
- enforce these Terms;

8. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of content or conduct on flashcard.page that you believe violates these Terms, infringes your rights, or is illegal, email contact@flashcard.page.
Please include enough detail for us to locate and evaluate the issue, such as the relevant link, set ID, image, screenshot, and a short explanation of the problem. We may remove or restrict content while we review a report.
9. Service Ownership
Except for User Content, flashcard.page and its software, design, branding, text, graphics, interfaces, and other service materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property and other laws.
These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you in the service or our intellectual property.
10. Shared Links And Collaboration
You are responsible for deciding whether to share a set and with whom. Anyone who receives a share link may be able to access the content in the mode allowed by that link. If you share a link broadly, the content may become accessible beyond your intended audience.
11. Availability And Changes
We may add, remove, or change features at any time. We do not guarantee that flashcard.page will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, with or without notice.
12. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. If you have an account, you may delete it through the account settings when that option is available.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created legal exposure, or used the service in a way that could harm users, rights holders, or the service itself.
13. Disclaimers
flashcard.page is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and quiet enjoyment.
We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that User Content will be accurate or lawful, or that the service will be available without interruption, loss, corruption, or delay.
14. Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, flashcard.page and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for User Content uploaded, stored, shared, or made available by users, including content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, inaccurate, or offensive.
Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the service will be limited to the greater of one hundred euros (EUR 100) or the amount you paid us, if any, for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless flashcard.page and its operator from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:

16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, excluding conflict of law rules. To the extent permitted by law, disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be subject to the courts of Denmark.
17. Changes To These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may post the updated version on this page and update the revision date. Your continued use of the service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
