I started flashcard.page while studying computer science at Aalborg University. Studying at AAU is almost entirely group based, so I needed a flashcard tool my study group could actually work in together, not just take turns editing.

I wanted an alternative to Quizlet and Knowt that had every feature we needed without the most useful parts being paywalled. Real live collaboration was the big missing piece, so flashcard.page lets you edit a set together in real time, share it with a link, and study it together without anyone having to sign up.
